I’m so honoured you’re here. This course is the first step on your path to becoming a Birthkeeper—someone who holds space, shares wisdom, and walks alongside women and birthing people in reclaiming their pregnancy and birth. Over the next five modules, you’ll gain knowledge, confidence, and a deeper connection to this work.
This journey isn’t just about learning facts—it’s about shifting perspectives, unlearning what no longer serves you, and embracing the wisdom that has always been within you.
Watch this short video where I’ll introduce myself, share what to expect, and guide you in setting an intention for your time in this course.
Birthkeeping is more than a role—it is a calling.
It is a path of deep remembering, of reconnecting with the wisdom of birth, and of holding space for others as they journey through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
This introductory course is designed to guide you into the heart of birthkeeping. Whether you are just beginning to explore this path or already feel called to support birth in a deeper way, Sacred Foundations will help you:
Understand what a birthkeeper is and how this role differs from doulas, midwives, and other birth workers.
Learn about the Wise Woman Approach to Pregnancy and Birth.
Reconnect with birth as sacred—a powerful rite of passage rather than a medical event.
Embed the importance of birthing at home as the key to empowered physiological birth.
Gain foundational knowledge of physiological birth and how we have reached a peak of medicalisation and loss of faith in birth as a society.
How to Approach This Course
This course is an invitation to explore, reflect, and begin embodying the birthkeeper path. You are not expected to have all the answers—this is a starting point, a place to awaken curiosity and deepen your awareness.
Some lessons will introduce new concepts, while others will encourage personal reflection. There are no right or wrong answers—only your own journey of discovery.
We have a Whatsapp group as a way of connecting to others. Message me on 07856212954 to request to be added. Please include your sign up email in your message.

The workbooks are for your own self development and not to be submitted.
If you have any thoughts or questions as you work through the reflective exercises please share them with your fellow students in the Whatsapp group.
