Doula Course Curriculum
Foundational Modules
Discover the roots of birthkeeping and how the Wise Woman Approach can guide you as you lay your birthkeeper roots in prenatal support and undisturbed birth. Explore your own conditioning and stories around pregnancy and birth, ready to work with clients that you truly align with to create your own authentic doula practice.
Prenatal Modules
You'll learn how to guide clients through deep inner work using my signature pregnancy journal, so they can claim their birth. You’ll explore holistic self care in pregnancy from nourishment to rest and conscious connection with baby, to deepen instinct and intuition. Plus understand how to navigate the medical model of prenatal care with your clients.
Birth Modules
Physiological birth requires us to understand the processes, demystify the journey of undisturbed labour and birth of the baby, the placenta and the mother or birthing person. And then know how we can be a presence that protects it, not disturb it. We dive into all aspects of birth - undisturbed, physiological AND how to optimise physiology when labour evolves differently.
